Tracking a requirement

The tracking code, progress stages, public notes, and what to do when the scope changes.

Updated 25 Aug 2026

The tracking code

The tracking code opens a private progress page for the submitted requirement, with no sign-in needed. Keep the code safe to return at any time.

Progress stages

  1. Submitted and triage
  2. Planned
  3. In progress
  4. Delivered
  5. Closed

A stage changes only when the work reaches a meaningful milestone.

Public notes

Public notes carry the latest client-facing update. Internal planning and private operational details never appear on the tracking page.

When the scope changes

If the scope changes materially after delivery or closure, submit a new enquiry so the new work is assessed on its own.
